Star Buy - Ma-Noa and Lago Azul - Paradise for Sale in Brazil

GEM Estates is tipping two resorts for the top this month, both in Brazil’s northeastern state of Rio Grande do Norte, the closest part of South America to Europe and an area suspended in perpetual summer, an average of 27 degrees Celsius every day to be precise. The first, Ma-Noa Park, is set in the idyllic fishing village of Maracajaú, 54km drive north of state capital, Natal, and the second, Lago Azul, in the trendy surf spot of Tibau do Sul, 80km drive south of Natal. Unlike many Brazilian resorts being marketed to northern Europeans, both these resorts are in the throes of construction, Lago Azul is in particular taking shape quite nicely as these pictures depict, and we believe that this will instil confidence into current and future purchasers.

Ma-Noa Park is best known for its popular on-site aqua park of the same name. With a huge 600m² swimming pool, waterfalls, Jacuzzi, exciting waterslides, river with rapids and wet bar, this facility is perfect for the young and young at heart. Continuing on the sporty theme, Ma-Noa Park also adds a football pitch (this is Brazil), beach volley-ball, tennis courts and gymnasium to its facility whilst 18-holes of golf are to be built alongside the resort. Within five years more than ten golf courses will be within a 25-minute radius of the village of Maracajaú. Maracajaú is best known for its superb diving conditions, a beautiful natural coral reef covering 13 square kilometres sits just a short boat ride offshore from the white sandy beaches and the resort will happily arrange excursions for residents, the same goes for horse riding and fishing. Restaurants, bars, shops, a mini market and 24-hour security complete the picture.

Clearly with so much to attract and engage, the rental potential for purchasers within this resort is phenomenal. From around June 2009, the brand new São Gonçalo del Amarante Airport will be open and at the same time become the largest passenger and cargo airport in Latin America, and eighth biggest in the world. This airport will be just 25 minutes drive from Ma-Noa Park, further enhancing its appeal to holidaymakers.
